So I asked my shopping partner and good friend CrissyB to send me a picture of herself in this hot blazer. A group of us went out to celebrate a friends birthday and she paired this blazer with slim bootcut jeans and open toe brown booties. Scottos, Food and Fashion

I usually don't blog on restaurants although my plan is to expand beyond fashion and post about everything that inspires me. So today I attempted to help my friend shop for a hat after not finding the right hat we gave in and went to eat at Scottos in LI. The food is excellent, they have great italian cruisine. They also play great music, classic Cool & The Gang, young Stevie Wonder and others. The highlight of the evening was when my daughter mid conversation notices the disco ball. My friend calls the manager over and my daughter says you are playing really great music why is the disco ball not on. Inquiring minds these children. The manager explains that they have plans to have battle of the dj's and fashionista night soon but it is still in the works. I made it known that I would love to judge this fashionista night. So with that said be on the look out I will keep you posted. Hey send me your best dressed looks so I can work on my skills.

Weekly Feature "Zoe and Co."

So I found this great local boutique in Huntington Long Island called Zoe and Co. and fell in love with these great finds. I support locally owned businesses because the service is personal and friendly. Zoe and Co. will celebrate their 1 year anniversary this May so go out and support this gem. There is a second location in Cedarhurst which caters to a more conservative dresser. Claudia and Tom the owners are their own buyers for their store and I have to say great job guys. The best part is the greeting from their Yorkshire terrier Zoe of which the store is named.

This was my favorite item because its versatility goes a long way. Jeans, shorts, flats, or heels this top will pop.

These jeggings have zippers at the ankle, one of the owners Tom Kirk  picked this top as the hot new item of which I have to agree. Sailor stripes are popular with bold colors and this tank is a great example of how sailor stripes have been revamped.
