Shoe Pick of the Week

With the fall season upon us it is hard to go from summer to  fall wardrobe. It is not cold nor hot so we usually mix up the seasons apparel. I love maxi dresses with blazers or shorts with opaque tights and a denim jacket. I could on and on but shoes are the trick. So these shoes right here are perfect for this fall season. Street Style Summer

So I went to this birthday party in Amityville, N.Y. at the High Note. The High Note is a little intimate spot with live bands and very sexy ambiance. The service was okay but the drinks made up for it. Which leads me to this street style.

This is a dress right.....no. This young lady said "You will not believe were I purchased this top" I said top what?! This blouse from Joyce Leslie was paired with a pencil skirt. She threw a flower in the hair for that spanish harlem look. One of my favorite looks this past summer and most of all budget friendly. The High Note 136 Broadway is for grown and sexy folk like the old heads would say but the dj also set it off so stop by and check it out.

So I have had some posts sitting in drafts for some of the summer. These were one of my favorite shoe street style picks for the summer and the hair stylist who had them on knew what she was doing!

Animal skin and prints are in this season and all seasons in my opinion.

Kanye, what else is there to say?

Guess who's ready to wear line hit Paris Fashion Week......Kanye. Yes I know you read it in my title but why is everyone surprised. He said he would and he did but most of the reviews have been negative. I have seen some garments far worst on the runway. Would I have liked to see a more polished collection yes but was it horrid no. We have seen many music artist create or put there names on t-shirts and jeans so I was impressed somewhat. Bandage dresses not so much. I got the back pack movement in the collection all smiles because if we can recall that was his signature before he went white suit on us. (for those who may not get it) Before he found his true style. There was no smooth transition from theme to theme but hey Kanye is not the man who we know what to expect from he does what he feels maybe we can take a note from him. Overall I wonder what we can expect and with Kanye there is no telling. How do you feel about the collection?
